Computer Lab
There are two computer stations available for students' use. They offer more than 25 different programs and levels of the most well known and respected educational music software available today. Students work from a syllabus that coincides with the LVMTA Musicianship Exams. Included are programs that address note reading, rhythm, listening skills, key signatures, chord structure, composers and instruments. This is an invaluable part of music study and highly encouraged for each student age 7 and up. Programs include: Music Ace I & II, Pianomouse Theory and Composers, Auralia, Musition, Alfred's Essentials of Music Theory, Alfred's Interactive Musician, Dolphin Don, Word Attack, PBJ Prep-6, Midisaurus 1-8 and Midisaurus Notation, Composers and Rhythm. A yearly computer lab fee is charged in September.
